The Club comprises TALENTED players from local Battersea schools in south London. We mentor and provide a pathway from U12s through to U18s Youth football, leveraging the best the professional game has to offer.
Anthony McNamee, FCB coach, said “By spending quality time training with a ball at their feet, FC Battersea is a great opportunity for local kids to become great footballers. We want to mentor them to be the best.” Anthony is a UEFA coach and former professional who played in the Premiership with Watford and represented England at U19s.
The Club vision is to occupy the gap in the game between the ‘academy’ and ‘grassroots’ youth systems for local kids with football talent and commitment. Exceptional players will be recommended to Fulham FC as part of our Partnership agreement. Through football, mentoring and wider learning, FC Battersea is a local FAMILY that develops exceptional players but above all creates good and principled young people.
